Main requirements for family reunification

1. Not be a citizen of a State of the European Union.
2. Not being found 
3. Lack of a criminal record in Spain and in their previous countries of residence for crimes under Spanish law.
4. Not appear as objectionable in the territorial space of countries with which Spain has signed an agreement in this regard, or be prohibited from entering our country.
5. Have health insurance, either public or private.
6. Not suffering from any of the diseases that can have serious public health repercussions.

Requirements to be met by the sponsor

1. The following minimum amounts will be considered sufficient financial means :
   • For family units that include two members (regrouping and regrouping) a monthly amount of 150% of the IPREM is required.
   • For each additional member , 50% of the IPREM must be added. Possess sufficient financial means to be able to meet the needs of the family, and thus carry out family reunification.

2.Have adequate housing.

3. The sponsor must have lived in Spain for at least 1 year and have authorization to reside for at least another year.

Requirements to be met by the reunited family member

• Appear as a spouse or person with whom the sponsor maintains an emotional relationship similar to the conjugal one.
• Be the children of the sponsor and / or the spouse or partner, including the adopted ones.
• Be legally represented by the sponsor, for minors under 18 years of age or who have a disability
• Be the first degree ascendant(father or mother) of the resident reunifier with a long-term or long-term permit-EU, or be the father or mother of their spouse or partner. * Exceptionally, for humanitarian reasons, for family reunification, the ascendant under 65 may be reunited.
